Hey there friends! Today I'm sharing one of my favorite breakfast recipes that I think you'll love. It's perfect for any day of the week and the best part it's super easy to whip up in your kitchen with only a few ingredients.
My breakfasts in the morning have to be simple, since we spend most of our days busy homeschooling and creating products. So this is a recipe that I can whip together in no time and my tribe just loves it!
So here I've included what you need as well as a few links to items in case you don't have time to hit the grocery store.
Ingredients:
3 c Rolled Oats
1 c Raw Sugar (Or Honey)
2 tsp Baking Powder (aluminum free)
4 TBS Melted Butter
2 tsp Cinnamon
1/8 tsp Nutmeg
1 tsp Salt
1 c Dehydrated Apples (Diced) or 3/4 c Fresh Apples (Diced)
2 Eggs
Instructions:
Prep your oven by preheating to 350 degrees
Mix oats, sugar (but not honey), baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt together well
Beat in milk, eggs, and butter (add honey here as well) until well mixed
Stir in chopped apples.
Spread out in a 9 x 13" baking dish and bake for about 35 to 40 minutes. A toothpick should come out fairly clean.
Serve this with a little sweetened cream on top or by itself. It's amazing!

Hey Mary! Old Fashioned always. It makes a huge difference in the texture of the end product. I hope that helps! :)
Do you use old fashion or quick oats? Thanks!
Brenda Thank you so much! I’m sure you’ll love it the baked oatmeal. I thought it would be perfect for back to school season/fall. Enjoy and thanks again. :)
This looks/sounds fabulous. Will try when fall comes!!! I love your faux cakes too. 😊👏🏻
